Hey There Rubinites,
Hope you all are having a great week! Welcome to the fifth issue of The Rubin Recap! I’m excited to continue sharing facts, insights, and more while always hearing your thoughts on all things Rubin Report. Let’s get into it!
This Week on The Rubin Report:
This week was a bit more back to the norm following the whirlwind of craziness this past month but, the news never stops! That’s why I’ve made sure to keep you up to date on everything you need to know!
On Monday, I began the week off by discussing Joe Biden’s disastrous fundraiser with Hollywood stars like Jimmy Kimmel, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Barack Obama and more. The night ended absolutely terribly as Biden was filmed freezing and Obama had to escort him off the stage. As I said, I think this was a manipulation tactic. Barack Obama is the one really running this administration. He is the source of all of the evil that’s going on in our country right now. I moved on to Jerry Seinfeild’s savage takedown of a heckler who started chanting “From the River to the Sea '' during his stand-up comedy set. I took a closer look at that clip on “Real Time with Bill Maher '' where Maher and guest Joel Stein discussed topics from the hypocrisy of the Left on the anti-Semetic college campus protests to Ana Navarro from the View. I also went over Maher’s calling out Larry Wilmore on the “Club Random'' podcast for having a double standard for racism. On the sports end we made sure to take a look at Boston Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla’s perfect response to a reporter who tried to inject race into the conversation. I made sure to inform you all of Nigel Farage’s return to politics and getting the audience of his debate to roar with laughter at Penny Mordaunt’s defense of immigration policies of the U.K. We also talked about Elon Musk’s demand for an end to electronic voting! Lastly, we have an exciting change of events! We released our first ever sit-down interview on Monday night and loved the reaction from all of you! What did you think of the interview?
On Tuesday, I talked about Jon Stewart of the Daily Show’s failed attempt to debunk the GOP’s city crime narrative by leaving out some key statistical data about rising crime. Then I went over Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson’s hilarious answer to the press asking him about getting caught in a political corruption scandal. Of course I had to update you all on the bizarre plan involving slurpees to fight youth crime in Takoma Park, Maryland. Even writing it now I can’t believe what our world has come to. I moved on to NYC mayor Eric Adams pushing for a face mask ban in NYC to fight crime. I revisited our episode from Monday by talking about Karine Jean-Pierre labeling the latest viral videos of Biden’s gaffes at the G7 Summit and his Jimmy Kimmel-hosted Hollywood fundraiser as simply misleading "cheap-fake" videos. I also addressed Elon Musk’s triumphant shareholder meeting after receiving a huge win for his pay package. Lastly, we took a look at Argentina’s President Javier Milei giving an epic no-holds-barred answer to an interviewer's question about “the Left.”
On Wednesday, we had a great day for you! Before I even get into our show, be sure to check out my interview with Bill Hemmer and Martha MacCallum on Fox News! I started the day off by talking about Douglas Murray’s fiery debate performance at the Munk Debates on anti-Zionism where he and co-debater Natasha Hausdorff destroyed Mehdi Hasan’s falsehoods and veiled anti-Semitism. I moved on to Camille Paglia’s prescient warning to Charlie Rose in 1995 about how higher education was already becoming an anti-Western civilization indoctrination factory. Afterwards, we took a turn to discuss Michael Richards, better known as Kramer from “Seinfeld,” doing his first ever live interview on “The Today Show” to explain how he has changed since his controversial racist remarks at the Laugh Factory in 2006. Then I took a look at the mental institution known as MSNBC’s Joy Reid and Jemele Hill explaining why the attention that Caitlin Clark has brought to the WNBA is just more proof of the audience’s racism and homophobia. I also talked about the clip of Margaret Hoover from “Firing Line” looking a little confused as Democrat Cori Bush explains how she used spiritual healing to cure a homeless woman’s tumors. Lastly I mentioned, Joy Behar of "The View" and Rachel Maddow openly discussing their paranoid delusions of how Donald Trump will target them for his revenge if he wins the 2024 election. And as I mentioned in my previous newsletter we may have filmed a little surprise for our rebranding…but you’ll have to keep checking in to find out!
On Thursday, I talked about my appearance on “The Chris Cuomo Project” where we had a tense debate about the COVID vaccine, Dr. Fauci, and if there is any common ground between conservatives and liberals over what lessons we have learned from the pandemic. Then I discussed my disagreements with Cuomo about DEI, “the very fine people” comments by Donald Trump and who the real racists are. I moved on to Dr. Fauci giving Joe Scarborough of “Morning Joe” a list of excuses for why he and other experts got things wrong due to the “fog of war” and The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert and Dr. Fauci getting confused over why political polarization increased during COVID. I moved on to Ben Sasse sharing how liberal Ivy League professors who are not interested in indoctrination are desperately trying to get teaching positions at Florida’s University of Florida and Hamilton Center. Lastly, I did a special “ask me anything” question-and-answer session on a wide-ranging host of topics, answering questions from all of you here on Locals! Also, be sure to check out the clip of me on the John Bachman show on NewsMax2!
We’re finishing off the week strong with an absolute all star cast on the Roundtable! Emily Austin and Xaviaer DuRousseau will be coming on the show to discuss how the view harpies blame racism on the reason Obama’s daughters aren’t getting involved in politics, Kathy Hocul vs. pro-Hamas protesters on Juneteenth, Biden’s health decline and so much more!
This Week’s Sit Down Interviews:
In my most recent Sit-Down interview I talked with the one and only Riley Gaines where we discussed her new book, Swimming Against the Current: Fighting for Common Sense in a World that’s lost its mind. We also went into her journey from NCAA competitive swimmer to outspoken advocate for women's sports, the pivotal moment when she tied with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, how, despite their tie, the NCAA awarded the trophy to Thomas, what happened when she confronted the officials after the trophy was handed to Thomas and so much more! Dave’s Fave’s and Insights:
This weekend I spent the holiday with the boy’s visiting the Dinosaur World in Miami. We ended the day off with a barbeque outside in the garden. We cooked up some burgers and salad. As you all know I love getting to spend time with the fam, particularly considering how crazy it has been these past few weeks. How did you all celebrate Father’s Day? There were some crazy wildlife outside my house this week that I had to share photos of with you all. That’s Florida for you!
Weekly Motivation:
With my birthday coming up next week I wanted to share this great quote:
“Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.” - Walt Disney
