This Week on The Rubin Report: 

On Monday, I talked about Stephen A. Smith admitting that Democrats lied as another right-wing “conspiracy theory” turned out to be true. A new DOJ report showed that dozens of FBI informants were present on January 6, challenging the mainstream narrative. I also discussed Chamath Palihapitiya of the “All-In Podcast” sharing a stunning graphic that suggests the incoming Trump administration could be the most pro-business in history. Bill Ackman told CNBC why he thinks the economy is poised for a major boom. Van Jones called out Democrats and Chris Cillizza for implying that Donald Trump isn’t smart, explaining why Trump is actually smarter than they give him credit for. Alejandro Mayorkas explained to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer what’s really going on with the mysterious drones spotted above New Jersey. Lastly, Jordan Peterson shared with Tom Bilyeu of “Impact Theory” what happens when you commit to telling the truth, no matter the consequences, and much more.

On Tuesday, I covered Donald Trump’s press conference at Mar-a-Lago, where he calmly put members of the press in their place over a wide range of questions, including pardoning Eric Adams, the bizarre obsession with Luigi Mangione by leftist activists, and Elon Musk’s DOGE project uncovering wasteful government spending. CNN’s Jake Tapper looked visibly shaken while discussing Trump’s defamation lawsuit victory against George Stephanopoulos. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. issued a stern warning to top medical journals he believes may be engaging in fraud. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was publicly humiliated by a steelworker during a heated exchange. I also mentioned Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s cameo in Broadway’s “& Juliet,” a nonbinary reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic, and took a look back at Clarence Thomas’ famous confrontation with Joe Biden during his confirmation hearings.

On Wednesday, I talked about Elon Musk announcing his plans to disrupt the education industry by opening an Ad Astra Montessori school in Bastrop, Texas. Walter Isaacson told Lex Fridman the secret to Musk’s extraordinary productivity and how he structures his day. Disney finally realized the cost of going woke and demanded Pixar remove a transgender storyline from its upcoming show “Win or Lose.” On “The View,” Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines argued over whether Robert F. Kennedy Jr. should lead HHS and who can be trusted to keep America healthy. Dr. Drew explained to Sean Hannity the best way to deal with a loved one suffering from Trump derangement syndrome. Finally, Eric Adams told Dr. Phil how his stance on the migrant crisis made him a target of Democratic lawfare. Yesterday I also did an interview on the Piers Morgan show! If you have not already watched it make sure to do so, because you are going to want to see it! 

On Thursday, I shared my appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” where the panel reacted to Cenk Uygur’s unhinged ad hominem attack on Dave. Elon Musk led a revolt against the government spending bill in the House, showing the power of a single tweet as a potential shutdown looms. American Airlines announced it would suspend its DEI hiring policies, marking a major victory for those pushing back against these initiatives. Eric Adams told Martha MacCallum how New York’s sanctuary city status was never intended to handle a full-blown border crisis and an influx of migrant gangs. NY Governor Kathy Hochul looked flustered after a report exposed how she manipulated subway crime statistics to make the numbers appear more favorable. Finally, Dave Rubin hosted a special “ask me anything” session for the Rubin Report Locals community, tackling a wide range of questions, and much more.

The Sit Down:

Get ready because today I am also releasing my sit down interview with Joe Lonsdale, a prominent entrepreneur and venture capitalist, about co-founding Palantir Technologies, Addepar, and OpenGov, why he thinks Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will be successful with their plans for the DOGE, why government spending has gotten so wasteful, how Alex Karp became the CEO of Palantir, his insights into the evolution of the tech industry, why silicon valley got so woke; the rise of "tech bros,” the increasing political engagement among tech leaders, the role of technology in solving complex problems and so much more!

Daves Faves:

This week as we head into one of our last newsletters before the New Year I have to reflect on everything that has happened over the last year. We had the biggest year in the history of The Rubin Report and I am so grateful to each and every one of you who tuned in to watch our live direct messages, exclusive sit down-interviews, tweets, visits to others shows/podcasts, basketball games and so much more! I am so proud of this community that we have built and can’t wait to return next year for more live adventures. As we go into 2025 I think it is all about taking what we learned from this year and bettering ourselves to become the best version of who we want to be. We just saw one of the greatest political comebacks in history with Donald Trump. When I look into the future, I think we can all only hope to go about life with that determination and will to do great things. 

Wrapping things up, I am getting ready to begin some holiday festivities with my family. Whether you celebrate any of the holidays, I am wishing you a wonderful holiday and the happiest of New Year’s! We had a wonderful holiday party over here with the team but, I can’t wait to spend some quality time with my family. I’d love to know what you all are getting prepared to do! This Week on The Rubin Report: 

On Monday, I dove into Greta Thunberg's latest controversy. Her speech at a pro-Palestine protest turned off many of her climate activism fans. Then, I shared my experience on “The Iced Coffee Hour,” where I explained why I left the Left. Next, Neil deGrasse Tyson looked foolish trying to convince “Piers Morgan Uncensored” that trans athletes don’t have any advantage in women’s sports. Moving on, NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D) told Marcia Kramer why he changed his mind about letting ICE deport illegal migrants and his willingness to work with new border czar Tom Homan. Later, on “The View,” Joy Behar was left speechless by John Fetterman's reaction to Hunter Biden’s pardon, pointing out the hypocrisy of Democrats accusing Republicans of weaponizing the justice system. Following that, Charlamagne tha God from “The Breakfast Club” ripped into the Democratic Party’s hypocrisy after Hunter Biden’s pardon. Finally, CNN’s Scott Jennings and host Abby Phillip reacted to Leigh McGowan's paranoid justification for Joe Biden’s abuse of the presidential pardon process. 

On Tuesday, I talked about “The Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart being shocked by his audience’s sickening reaction to the news that Luigi Mangione had been arrested in connection with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Then, Scott Jennings was repulsed by CNN host Audie Cornish trying to make an equivalency between the killing of Brian Thompson and that of Jordan Neely by recently acquitted Daniel Penny. Next, Black Lives Matter’s Hawk Newsome called for more black vigilantes to fight the “injustice” of Daniel Penny’s not guilty verdict. After that, Megyn Kelly used Daniel Penny’s acquittal as more proof that the BLM era is over. Moving on, journalist Taylor Lorenz openly admitted to a “Piers Morgan Uncensored” panel that she felt joy when she heard about the murder of Brian Thompson. I also talked live to Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) about the rapidly changing events in Syria and the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad. 

On Wednesday, I covered “The Young Turks” host Ana Kasparian admitting to Glenn Beck why she believed mainstream media’s lies about the migrant crisis and what made her realize she was wrong. Then, Kasparian told Piers Morgan that she might have been wrong in her accusations against me. Next, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reacted to the Daniel Penny verdict. Following that, NewsNation’s Dan Abrams called BS on BLM’s Chivona Newsome’s failed attempts to try to make Jordan Neely’s death about racism. Moving on, “The View’s” Whoopi Goldberg tried to make excuses for Jordan Neely’s violent and threatening behavior. Later, Fox News’ Jesse Watters had a bizarre interview with Luigi Mangione’s roommate R.J. Martin, who turned him on to the Unabomber’s manifesto. Then, Megyn Kelly had a revealing conversation with secretary of defense nominee Pete Hegseth about how the “Brett Kavanaugh playbook" is being used on him. I ended our DM off by discussing Jordan Peterson delivering a brutal takedown of 15-minute cities. I also joined the Magen David Adom Gala and filmed a bunch of special shows for the holidays!

On Thursday, I talked about Joe Rogan expressing his horror to Rick Strassman about Democrats' unprecedented talk of giving a pre-emptive presidential pardon to Dr. Fauci. Then, “The View’s” Sunny Hostin was surprised by Bill Clinton’s candid answer about the idea of Biden pre-emptively pardoning his wife, Hillary Clinton. Next, Donald Trump asked “Meet the Press’” Kristen Welker whether he had plans to fire Christopher Wray as the director of the FBI. Moving on, Argentina’s Javier Milei announced how his policies to control government spending have created the first fiscal surplus for the country in 123 years. After that, the 92nd Street Y in NYC lost complete control of pro-Palestine protesters during Katie Couric’s interview with Nancy Pelosi. Then, I ended the DM with my thoughts on Van Jones delivering a brutally honest message for the Democratic Party and divisive movements like BLM and #MeToo. I also did a special “ask me anything” session, answering questions from all of you here on Locals! Get ready because Thursday, I also brought Joe Longsdale into the studio where we discussed so many great things for an exclusive sit-down interview to be released soon!

It’s been a whirlwind lately. I traveled to NY and LA, caught a Lakers game with Bill Maher, and joined Gutfeld for a great segment. 

I also hosted a special dinner at my place to honor Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Fleur Hassan-Nahoum and Ambassador Friedman. It was an incredible evening with great conversations and company. We also took family photos for the holidays, which was super fun. Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for a holiday party with the crew, friends, and family. I can’t wait to share photos with you all!

On Monday, I talked about my conversation with Jordan Peterson about how the Democratic Party could have won the election if they hadn’t doubled down on misleading the public. Peterson explained how mainstream media and Democrats underestimated the influence of independent media and podcasters like Joe Rogan and Ben Shapiro. I also covered “The View’s” Whoopi Goldberg and Ana Navarro clashing over how to resist a second Trump presidency, with Whoopi surprisingly taking the more measured stance. Ana Navarro expressed concerns about her mental health under a Trump presidency and shared how she’s preparing for it. Sage Steele explained to Sean Hannity why the 4B movement is growing among women in response to male voters supporting Trump. Bill Clinton spoke to MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart about how conservative media bypassed mainstream outlets to reach rural voters. Finally, I mentioned Dave Rubin hosting a special “ask me anything” session for the Rubin Report Locals community, and much more.

On Tuesday, I talked about Joe Biden breaking his promise not to pardon his son Hunter Biden, along with Elon Musk’s sharp response to X’s community notes addressing Biden’s lie. I also covered Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” discussing Kash Patel, Trump’s controversial FBI director pick, who told Glenn Beck why the FBI has protected Jeffrey Epstein’s list and shared his plans to dismantle the deep state. Kevin O’Leary of "Shark Tank” surprised CNN hosts by explaining how Trump’s tariff plan could cripple China. Marc Andreessen revealed to Joe Rogan how tech entrepreneurs have been targeted and debanked under Operation Choke Point for their political views, and why so many wealthy individuals support Kamala Harris. Finally, I mentioned Coleman Hughes shutting down CNN’s Ameshia Cross for accusing Joe Rogan of grifting and shifting his political beliefs, and much more.

On Wednesday, I talked about “The Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart turning on Democrats, slamming them and mainstream pundits for their disgraceful defense of Joe Biden pardoning Hunter Biden, all while claiming that under Democrats no one is “above the law.” I also covered CNN’s Jake Tapper losing his cool at Democrats and mainstream media for their hypocritical defense of Hunter Biden’s pardon. “The View’s” Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin got incredibly defensive about the pardon, while co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin called out Joe Biden for repeatedly lying to the American people. Shermichael Singleton explained to his fellow CNN panelists how their handling of Hunter Biden’s pardon has cost them their last shred of trust with the public. Additionally, I covered reports of George Clooney being furious at Barack Obama and the Democratic Party for being blamed for helping to oust Joe Biden in favor of Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders struggling to explain to Lex Fridman why he owns three houses, and NY Governor Kathy Hochul appearing to shift her stance on mass deportation as a solution to the migrant crisis. I also appeared on Gutfeld where we had a great and funny discussion. Be sure to check out!

On Thursday, I talked about Democrat megadonor John Morgan telling “Piers Morgan Uncensored” how Joe Biden’s pardoning of Hunter Biden is just the latest hypocritical move from a party that claims to care about democracy while anointing Kamala Harris. John Morgan also told Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany how incompetent the Harris campaign was behind the scenes and how even Barron Trump understood the importance of going on the Joe Rogan podcast. Scott Galloway explained to “This Past Weekend’s” Theo Von how Donald Trump managed to connect with disaffected and struggling men ignored by the Kamala Harris campaign. The Harris campaign’s Stephanie Cutter told “Pod Save America’s” Daniel Pfeiffer the real reason why Kamala Harris didn’t appear on "The Joe Rogan Experience." Meanwhile, “Pod Save America’s” Jon Favreau and Jon Lovett doubled down on the Democratic Party’s focus on trans rights, a stance that most Americans don’t support. I also discussed lawyer Joel Bassoff being removed from a city council meeting in Edison, New Jersey, by police for waving an American flag after the city enacted a ban on “props” during speeches. Finally, I mentioned Dave Rubin hosting a special “ask me anything” session for the Rubin Report Locals community, and much more.

Sit Down:

For this week's sit down interview the one and only Lara Trump came to visit us. I had an amazing conversation with her about the intense pressure the Trump family has faced over nine years in politics, from relentless media attacks to business losses. She shared how Donald Trump’s presidency shifted the cultural narrative, turning support for him from counterculture into something more mainstream, and how the RNC is moving away from the “old guard” to fully embrace the MAGA movement.

Lara also talked about potentially stepping into politics herself, hinting at her openness to fill Marco Rubio’s Senate seat if asked by Governor Ron DeSantis. We discussed the awakening of female voters during Trump’s presidency, Donald Trump’s personal growth through challenges (including surviving an assassination attempt!), and how he’s been able to build strong teams with figures like Tulsi Gabbard, Elon Musk, and RFK Jr.

We wrapped up with a look at how alternative media is eclipsing mainstream outlets and Elon Musk’s impact on free speech with platforms like Twitter. It was a great chat, and we covered a lot more too!
